Days Until Retirement: It's Here!
Today is retirement day - and it is a gorgeous, sunny day. The weather is warm. It was an emotional day, saying goodbye and giving hugs. I didn't sleep a wink last night, I was so wound up and excited about today. I made sure that my office was clean and in order - ready for the next person to use. They won't be hiring anyone to replace me, but everyone in the office wants my office with the best window view in the building. Where I am going, I will still have a gorgeous view of sunrise and sunsets. But now I will be on MY clock, on MY terms. Pretty darn cool. Being over 60 years of age is REALLY exciting - don't let anyone tell you differently.
Today's download is Designer Lesson # 32, at Hummie's World. Learning how to make an alphabet for digital scrapbooking. Great course, and I made an alpha with upper and lower case letters, as well as numbers. They are colored in a fabric that is the palette for a February Blog Hop collaboration that will be happening from the Pixel Scrapper site, so look for that.
